PROJECT: Two-Bedroom Lakeside Condo

The Bakers want to create a home that feels calm, warm, and welcoming. They both have childhood memories circulating around sharing food with others, and wanted to give their daughter that same gift. The floorplan is centered around the kitchen in an effort to achieve this. In order to give the space a grounded feeling, natural colors and textures are incorporated throughout the home. The space is intended to prevent day-to-day overwhelm: tucked away storage, sleek pocket doors, and minimal pieces all contribute to this effect.
